Status Updates

These days every step some people make is documented on social networking sites. Like Facebook, Twitter, Linked In etc  If you’re going out you announce it to everyone and give updates when you get back.  Some people will even give a play by play of activities, while they are still attending.  It has become such a part of our everyday life that it branches out from teens, to adults, businesses, job seekers, religious groups etc.

Is it really that big a deal?

I was scrolling through my MTV News App and saw The Dream and Christina Milian went public with their break up. So I am reading this news post and it say they hooked up back in the early part of last year, they spent two maybe three months together and she is pregnant. Then they decided to get married, I think that is a sweet idea and I give them credit because they got the cart before the horse, like we all sometimes do but they tried to make it right. The problem is they really didn't have time to get to know each other before they got into it. They made a good try of it for baby girl but it seems like it was over before it really started. I wonder if they got too caught up to use good judgement? After all it sounded and looked like a good story right? Dude musician meets chick musician fall in love and make musician babies!! Perfect

Honestly

I dare you to be honest with yourself for a second while I ask this one hypothetical question: If your all time favorite artist made a video or song like Rihanna's "Disturbia" or Jay_Z's "On to the Next One, do you think you would still comfortably be able to support them as an artist.  Would you buy their albums, or even endorse them at all? I know you may be thinking dang Naj, that's a bit harsh, so how about something as simple as this: Would you watch the video? Would you still listen to the song?
